Early Thursday morning my mother called me on my mobile phone and told me that she wanted me to go with her to look at a puppy. This is something that I promised to do for quite a while and I agreed to her request. She said she would pick me up around nine o’clock. By 10 o’clock she still hadn’t arrived and I called her on her mobile phone. She said that she had run out of gas and that she would be running a little late. She said not to worry as she had car breakdown cover and someone was already getting gas for her. I told her no big deal and I would wait around for her.
