Just Attended a Beautiful Destin Wedding

Thursday, August 13th, 2009

I am at that age where most of my friends are getting married. I have at least one wedding to go to every month. Some of them are just your regular church and hotel reception weddings. But I just attended a beautiful Destin Wedding. The bride and groom were married right on the beach. Then the reception was at a beach side restaurant. It was very pretty and very casual and relaxing. I do not think I have ever been to a wedding like that before. I think that if and when I get married, I would like to do something like that.

Day Saved by a Wedding Magician

Monday, August 10th, 2009

The second occasion for which I hired the services of my wedding magician, as I had begun to think of him, was the rehearsal dinner. Here he had a much larger audience. I had him perform for the entire dinner party which consisted of more than one-hundred fifty people. Then, I had him do double duty as he entertained the children during the rehearsal. This is the way in which he saved the day. The rehearsal took much more time than even I had anticipated. Therefore, when the evening drug on, he moved on to his encore act and thus a revolt of the children was averted.

It is no secret that tattooing has become incredibly popular in the last decade. It seems that these days everyone has a tattoo. Whether it be a barely noticeable one or ones that cover whole body parts tattoos which once frowned upon by society has now become a huge part of today’s ever evolving culture. When I read the sales letter for this product it sounded pretty good, small tattoo design but the thing that made me purchase it was there example tutorial video that can be played from the sales page. In it you will see the basics of how “Tattoo Direct” works and even shows a finished tattoo designed entirely by the software.

In photography, dynamic range is defined as a cameras ability to capture all the bright and dark areas of a subject or scene. In other words, if there are dimly lit areas of a picture, and very brightly lit areas of the same picture, a camera with good dynamic range should be able to reproduce both very accurately. Unfortunately, the Olympus E510 struggles maternity photography in the area of dynamic range. Of course, what your taking pictures of will determine if dynamic range is a big consideration for you in your camera purchase. Landscape photography with it’s unpredictable and diverse play of light demands a great deal of dynamic range from a camera.

Sunday Night Trance Music Show

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

I found the coolest program on the web over the weekend. It’s this Trance Music show from San Diego. The guy who produces it used to be a DJ on a local station there and did a show every Sunday night for several years. He eventually got tired of giving up his Sunday evenings, and took a break, but then decided to do the program as a podcast. He still releases it every Sunday night, but now he can record it whenever he wants.

Some of the best selection of music I’ve heard in years. Really happy that I found it.

Starting a New Guitar Website

Monday, July 20th, 2009

I don’t know too much about blogging, but I’ve always known that I love playing the guitar and, as such, I eventually found myself where I am now – in my mid thirties and running my own websites.  While most of my sites focus on music in general as well as a couple on which I offer a forum for buying and selling used guitars by far my absolute favorites are my guitar blogs.  On these sites, several likeminded individuals gather to discuss their love of music, guitars, and their bands and stories.  There’s threads devoted specifically to “hippie music” and jam bands while other threads focus on more classis rock and roll.  There’s even an Elvis thread as well as several devoted to the British Invasion as well as its overall affect on the American guitar movement.  If you’re an avid guitar, like I am, then I think you might enjoy sharing a moment of your time to visit my blog.
