I just ordered about a hundred dollars worth of book binding supplies from an online retailer. I can not wait for them to arrive. I even paid extra for the next day shipping. I have been waiting to bind a special book for my daughter that chronicles some of the best days of her life. I have included pictures of her first ballet recital, an article from the local paper when she was crowned homecoming queen and even her wedding announcement in this book. I can only hope this book is a special for her as it is to me.

I was really honored when my mother gave the guitar that belonged to my father.  He passed away over ten years ago and she hasn’t been able to get rid of any of his things until recently.  He tried to teach me to play when I was a teenager, but I just couldn’t be bothered.  I am now determined to learn to play, just like he would have wanted me to.  I have been trying to learn the scales because I remember him practicing them all the time.  I was having a terrible time so I found an online guitar scales lesson that is making it a bit easier.

I work at the DMV and one of my main functions is to restock the office supplies on a regular basis so we don’t run out of anything. Sounds simple enough but you would be surprised how many things get lost or broken all of a sudden. So usually I have a back stock of most things just in case. Recently I had to find some Notary Stamps and I had to get them from a new company since the old one apparently decided to go out of business. This is always a fun thing to have to deal with, finding new suppliers.

If you live in Southwest Florida it is common for people to see alligators in many different areas.  There are gators in the swamps and sometimes they have even been found in the pools of some people.  These gators have been known to cause personal injury, wrongful death, accident emergencies that are more worrisome than most people imagine.  Alligators are dangerous animals and do not decide who to or who not to attack.  If you live in Southwest Florida make sure that you have a plan for when you see gators, whether in your pool or in your the swamp behind your house.

  I have been wracking my brain on what to get the little woman for her birthday this year. I need to think of something she does not have, which is not easy. Maybe she needs some type of new clothing. I do not like to buy clothes for anyone because i want them to like it, not be scared of my taste in clothes. I could get her some mini skirts but I do not know if she would like that all that much. Maybe I should just get her a gift card to the mall and she can pick stuff out.

Last night I had my first date with a fabulous guy.  He’s intelligent, charming, witty, and extremely handsome.  He works for a company that does business with the company where I am employed, so he is frequently in our office.  I had a feeling he was interested in me because he always takes time to talk when he is in the building.  He finally asked me out to dinner and I was thrilled to accept.  We dined at a great little Italian restaurant.  It was the best date of my life.  I wanted to thank him for dinner and let him know how much I enjoyed his company, but was unsure how to go about this.  I decided to send him flowers.  Nothing big, just a single red rose with a thank you note delivered to him at work.  My best friend suggested I buy flowers online for a quick delivery.  I just hope he doesn’t think it is embarrassing for a guy to get flowers at work.      

My husband and I are no longer living together.  So making it on our own has been a bit of a stretch.  I have our three children living with me and he has visitations, however I do try to help him out where and when I can.  I am always looking for deals online and in the papers that we gets from the various stores.  I have to stay on a budget in order to make it on my own for myself and the children.  I am always thankful to find a great sale.  Having children they are always changing and growing making it rough to keep up.

I am getting married this coming weekend and cannot wait for it.  When I say that I am marring the best woman a man could want I am not exaggerating.  Just yesterday I had a fishing trip planned with my best man and dad.  It would be one last time of going out as a bachelor.  And for the trip she got me a big box of cigars that I could enjoy while I was gone.  She is just that kind of woman and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with her.  I cannot believe that she knew which kind of cigar that i liked.
