Wedding favor are small gifts given to the female guests at weddingreception by the bride and groom. They are seen as a gesture ofappreciation or graditude. Traditionally the favors have been made upof five almonds which represent health, wealth, happiness, long lifeand fertiliy. I decided to make by own favors and found the mostamazing heart shaped silver spoons by Alessi . They manufacture twoheart shaped spoons, either a desert spoon or a coffee spoon. So Iwrapped five favor in a small pouch of netting and using a small pieceof cream ribbon tied them to the Alessi spoon. They looked absolutelygorgeous on the table and I received so many compliments from therecipients about how romantic it was.
