My boss said I couldn’t take a vacation this year because there was too much work to be done and we had to lay off half of our staff because the economy was so bad and we weren’t selling enough of our services. But I convinced him that if I was able to get work done while I was off site that I should be able to go wherever I want. He agreed and so I went out and picked up some remote PC software and was able to get twice the work done as before in just half the time I would have normally spent in the office.
